How To Draw A Unicorn. The unicorn is a mythical and legendary creature: a horse with wings and a pointed, pointed horn protruding from its forehead. We’ve all dreamed of seeing a unicorn in real life, but the chances of seeing one are unlikely. Why not learn to draw a unicorn instead? By drawing a unicorn, you can catch it up near and intimate. Fortunately, we’ve created a step-by-step process for drawing a unicorn, summarized in 9 quick and easy steps.
Each instruction comes with an illustration as a visual guide as you go through the steps, making the process much easier. All you need is a sheet of paper and your favorite drawing tool, and you’re ready to draw a unicorn! Have fun, and use your imagination! You can draw many more characters like batman drawing, Anubis drawing, cat drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more drawing for kids.
Step 1:
Start by drawing two pointed shapes with connected curves in the upper left corner of your paper. This forms the mane above the unicorn’s head. Next, draw a tapered oval shape on both sides of the mane to create the unicorn’s ears. To ensure that the unicorn is drawn in the center, you can create reference lines by drawing horizontal and vertical line that intersects on the paper. This should divide your paper into four spaces: the top left space marks where you should draw the mane and ears. This ensures enough space for the unicorn’s entire head and body.
Step 2:
Please draw the shape of the unicorn’s head below the mane and ears we drew in the previous step. Remember to outline the unicorn’s jaw and muzzle. The shape of the unicorn’s head should resemble a typical horse’s head.
Step 3:
Draw a long, narrow shape along the neck of the unicorn. This creates the unicorn’s long, thick mane. Remember that the two strands of hair we drew in the first step and the mane that we drew in this step must be directly connected. Be sure to add wisps of spiky hair into the mane to add texture, making the mane look soft and realistic!
Step 4:
Draw an irregular oval shape to the side under the unicorn’s head. This form forms the body of the unicorn. Make sure both sides of the body are rounded, forming the chunky frame of the unicorn.
Step 5:
Under the unicorn’s chest, draw two parallel vertical lines with a horizontal line at the bottom. This creates a front paw for the unicorn. Next, draw a similar shape next to the first front leg to complete the unicorn’s two front legs. Since the unicorn looks to the sides, the front paw on the back is not fully visible. Remember to erase the overlapping torso lines on the inside of the legs! This will ensure that your drawing looks clean and, more importantly, refined.
Step 6:
Repeat the previous step under the lower back of the unicorn. This makes the unicorn’s pair of back legs… After completing this step, the unicorn’s four legs should be fully formed, as shown in the illustration above.
Step 7:
Draw a curved shape with a pointed tip attached to the lower back of the unicorn. This forms the unicorn’s thick, furry tail.
Step 8:
Draw a narrow, pointed shape attached to the unicorn’s forehead. This creates the pointed horn, one of the unicorn’s most distinctive physical characteristics. Next, draw a horizontal just above the edge of each foot, creating the look of hooves, which are the soles of your feet.
Step 9:
Draw two parallel diagonal lines on the unicorn’s horn. Next, draw a vertical oval inside the ear to form the inner ear. Then draw a curved line to create the outline of the unicorn’s muzzle. Next, remove an oval form for the eyes and a small shaded circle inside the muzzle for the beak. Moving on to the details of the unicorn’s body, draw a curved line at the bottom of its body to outline the lower body.
Now that we’ve successfully drawn a magical unicorn, it’s time for the long-awaited step: coloring the unicorn! Unicorns are usually depicted in white, signifying purity and grace. However, unicorns are believed to exist in many colors, such as silver, green, and brighter colors. Feel free to use any color you like to create a unique unicorn. Always remember the sky is the limit of your imagination; use it!
